Ways to work together

Choose the room. I will help shape the experience.

01

Speaking & Fireside Chats

I am available as a paid speaker for fireside conversations, panels, moderated discussions, keynote-style talks, and private company or client sessions. I can join a host, participate in a panel, moderate a conversation, or lead a presentation with audience Q&A.

Topics can include what an authenticator actually looks for, the changing counterfeit landscape, human expertise and consumer trust, the realities of luxury resale, and building skilled authentication teams. I adapt the depth and tone for consumers, collectors, retail teams, founders, and industry professionals.

02

Private Client Experiences

I create intimate, interactive sessions for VIP clients, collectors, membership communities, and private groups. Guests can examine authentic and counterfeit reference pieces, use professional inspection tools, and explore the details behind an expert assessment through storytelling and guided discovery.

The experience can complement a private shopping day, client appreciation event, luncheon, collector gathering, or luxury itinerary. The pace stays tactile and conversational, with the content shaped around the audience and occasion.

03

On-Site Expert Appearances

Businesses can retain me as an expert presence at retail events, private appointments, pop-ups, launches, and client gatherings. The format may include informal guest conversations, scheduled demonstrations, small-group discussions, and hosted Q&A.

This is a professional appearance with an agreed scope and duration. Any individual item assessments or intake support are scoped separately within the engagement, including the brands, expected volume, and review time involved.

Brand Activations & Collaborations

I collaborate with brands, businesses, and event teams to develop an authentication-themed experience around their audience and objectives. That might be a branded discovery station, a guided authentic-versus-counterfeit comparison, an educational pop-up, or a recurring event series.

I can help shape the concept, educational content, guest interaction, and accompanying materials. Production responsibilities, usage, and delivery are agreed for each project so the expert experience fits the larger event plan.

Inside the Details: A Private Authentication Experience.

An example of what a client could book

A small group of approximately 10 to 15 guests gathers for a guided session before a private shopping appointment or luncheon. Guests examine authentic vintage Louis Vuitton and Chanel pieces alongside counterfeit reference examples, subject to the agreed selection and availability.

With guidance, guests use jeweler's loupes, magnifiers, and appropriate lighting to explore stitching, materials, hardware, construction, and date code typography where relevant to the piece and production period. Discussion, questions, and a reveal show how an expert weighs the evidence.

An illustrative format is 60 to 90 minutes, with timing customized to the event. Guests gain access to an expert's perspective and a memorable shared experience that gives them something to discuss beyond the event itself. A tool or isolated identifier does not determine authenticity. Trained human judgment connects the details.

An Experience They Can Take With Them.

Co-branded authentication discovery kits and custom educational resources can extend an event or become a separately scoped collaboration. The takeaway is designed around the audience rather than pulled from a ready-made shelf.

A custom kit may include measuring tape, a jeweler's loupe, magnifier cards, a compact inspection mirror, flashlights, and selected reference materials. UV lights may be incorporated into guided demonstrations where appropriate. These are tools for observing details with expert guidance, not substitutes for expert judgment.

Printed or digital resources may include a co-branded authentication playbook, compact field guide, brand-specific date code references, desktop quick-reference sheets, and reminders of crucial review steps. Date codes and other identifiers are always presented in their relevant brand and production context.

I can collaborate on educational content, tool selection, packaging direction, and brand presentation. Materials may feature the client's branding alongside Nhu's Clues or be developed as white label resources. Design, sourcing, printing, assembly, shipping, quantities, lead times, and permitted distribution are confirmed during planning.

Why book Nhu

Technical depth, translated for the room.

I am a former Senior Manager of Fashion Authentication at The RealReal and the current Head of Luxury at Legitmark, where I built the luxury category. I also remain a practicing authenticator, educator, and independent consultant. Across all of my work and personal review, separate from any single service, I authenticate roughly half a million dollars of luxury fashion in an average week, from Birkins and Kellys to archival runway pieces.

That combination lets me make technical details understandable, respond to thoughtful questions in the moment, and connect luxury products to the realities of authentication and resale. My independent speaking and event engagements are separate from my provider affiliations and my role as a partner at the Authentication Institute of America.

Event questions

Before we plan.

Can the experience be customized?

Yes. We shape the topic, depth, examples, guest interaction, and materials around the audience and occasion.

Do you travel?

Yes. I am based in New York City and available for travel. Select speaking and educational formats can also be delivered virtually.

What group sizes work?

I work with intimate private groups, company sessions, and larger audiences. The format and amount of interaction change with the room.

Who provides reference pieces and tools?

We agree on the reference selection, availability, handling, tools, and responsibilities during planning. Nothing is assumed before the scope is confirmed.

Can kits or co-branded materials be included?

Yes. Discovery kits and educational resources can be added to an event or developed as a separate collaboration, with quantities, production, and permitted distribution agreed in advance.

Is an educational event an authentication service?

No. The event teaches guests how experts examine evidence. Guests bringing their own items requires advance agreement on scope, and some items may need a separate review.
